i have decided that this next season i would like to set up my own gears...does anyone out there know of a good website, book, video, or anything that teaches you the proper way of doing your gears?????...thanks

Richmond gear has a video.Pretty good I thought.Shows 9" Ford, 10 bolt Chev and also the Dana rearend.You need a good tool to check the pinion depth, and a simple dial indicator.A bearing splitter and a press makes the job easier.

Gear setup is very simple the only thing you need is your two hands, and a dial indicator.

thanks for the replies...looked up the richmond webpage and saw the video, looks good, they also have printouts that can help
