This year we are going to run either a shorty bar [about 15"] behind rear or in front. was wondering if moving pull bar to the right about 8", will help enhance side bite when you start to pick up on the throttle? Or will it make the car skate out on the rear? I know the pull bar will enhance the closest tire and the shorty bar should enhance the left tire. Has anyone ever tried this or will it hurt on the striaghts to much? Any help or thoughts would be helpful.

How far from center of housing can one go with pull bar? Is 8 to 10 inches to much? Just never tried this before. Does 4" make abig difference? Putting in new brackets over winter so we can try different things next year. If anyone has ever tried this let me know if it is even worth it.

It all comes down to driver preference, where you put it will effect a lot of things, such as how you scale the car etc. I know Gary Clark from Dirt Works has his pull bar right behind the drivers seat, but he doesn't run a lot of cross in the car, I think if you could have it adjustable enough to go to either side of center a ways you could play with it and find what is comfortable for you.
