I have aways read were you needed 74 spindals is there any differce in the pintos

73 and earlier were drum brake and the 74 and later are disc.

DO you have to bend the steering arm on these spindals or do you just put them on i have also heard you do not have to set the bump on the left front i would like to hear you thoughts on this

I run heims for the outer tie rods and set the bump with about 1 1/2 inch spacers. The length of the spacers may vary depending on the balljoints you use and the ride heigths you set the car at.

The spindals i have do have disic brakes but i measured the spindal and it was shorter than then the pinto spindal i was reading about on a later post i think they said the spindal was 7.62 long mine are little under 7 inches do i have the wrong spindal or can you make this work my car is a new dirt works with the corrected front 68 to 72 chevelle front clip
