I have heard rumors that IMCA would buy UMP and I know that they are prob. just that; rumors. However I didn't know if anymore of you guys have heard the same thing. I don't see how it would be possible for them to do this and change all of are stuff around, but I do see one advantage which is the tire rule they have. It would slow us down alittle but it would be a lot easier on the old pocket book. I hear their tires will last longer then 1 night! Man that would be great! I would like to hear what fellow UMP guys have to say about this.

A rummer is a cross between a rumor and a bummer!

what's wrong with the tire rule mine lasted me 6 nights at a time and was still running at the front. won a couple and 5th in pts only bought 9 tires all year, on quarter mile track. but i have always been easy on tires even though im running a big motor. so if they change the tire rule that will just make it easier for everyone else that can't make em last. and still be fast sounds to me like i must have a nerve that runs straight from my brain to my right foot or something. i like the ump rules just as they are even though i am one of the only underfinanced drivers that can run up front on a weekly basis. by the way i would like to see a better lookout for t.c. as i won't buy one. even though i think it would help, me win that 500 bucks more often.

I also read where Schrader would be purchasing UMP. That can't be bad can it?
