I am hoping someone one out there will shoot me some advice. I'm running a UMP modified with 4 bar 94 shock across the back. A 200lb spring in LR a 175 in LR. The car has an axle damper and 5th arm. My questions concerns putting a progressive spring on the 5th arm. Is this a good idea. What will this progressive spring do to the car in the corner? I would also like some info on a good modified/latemodel tech school or driving school. Any recommendations or words of wisdom would be appreciated.

No takers this morning huh! If someone could volunteer the info it help me alot. theoretically, I know the progressive spring on the torque arm will make the transition of power to the wheels and track smoother but I was hoping for some real life testimonies.

It will allow the suspension to move more and cushion the tire's contact patch better. This is because a progressive rate spring will actually all more travel before reaching it's destination in force.
