on most 3\8ths and 1\4 mile tracks, does there really seem to be an aero advantage to different sail panels\body panels? we have a race here coming up that is advertised 1200 to win if you go 'topless' and only 750 to win the same race if you don't, just wondering if it would really be any different?

Hey 5, 2 years ago for our final race of the season me and my buddy pulled the tops of our cars for the fun of it and for the fans. I won the heat and was kickin a ss in the dash. The bird cage let go in the dash. But if you never have ran topless try it! I really liked cuz its just cool and your cockpit is brightened up!

I'm a firm believer in aerodynamics but I would seriously doubt there would be much of a difference going topless unless you had a lot of rake in your roof . I went topless but they let us put a spoiler on that night and the track was heavy and it was a blast .......Hammer-down . Go topless and don't sweat it because I doubt that you will notice anything other than the looks .
