we may be a little lean with the pill we have in now, first problem was tryig to slow the flow down, way too much with the pill they send,so what do you do ? buy the whole pill Kit!!we run 5/8 supply,1/2 return,750 cfm carb on alcohol.we do have a ball valve in the return, which could be closed up a little.new radiator, new fan blade, stewart water pump, new belts,220-230 too hot.
if any of you guys have any ideas i thank you for your help.

I ran into the same situation and finally stepped my fuel line down to 1/2" and 'stretched' the spring slightly to help the rough idling condition.

Good luck!

what I did was to shim up the spring by putting a 3/16 backup washer for the rivit's under the spring to get the correct popoff pressure , I ran mine at 10 lbs at 6000 rpms it left it at 3lbs at idle..
