I talked to Tom Herbert this morning about the "new" modified rules that were suppose to be out april 15th. If you are looking at taking a IMCA legal mod and converting it to the new rules, you will be very unhappy..It sounds like the chassis' for the 2 classes will be very different...He wouldn't tell me exactly what the differences would be, but they will NOT be interchangable...Which just goes to show you that IMCA still has their head up their **sses..He said the rules "should" be posted on the IMCA web page late this week!!!

28 thats what the word on the street is about this new class .now in the area a limited mod is a imca car with a 360 9-1 motor and a 4412 carb thats the only difference here. myself i kinda like the stock mount deal as long as you can run weight jacks so there is some adjustment to it it would give low dollor guys like me a chance to run mods
