Which MSD box do you have? I have a 6AL and it has a built in rev limiter, to change RPM settings in it you change the rev chip in the side.

i use the msd cdi module that mounts inside the distributor with the msd coil seems to work well and trouble free. thanks again.

ok now im lost what setup are you refering to? and all of my ignition is contained inside the distributor and really don't want to change to an external ignition box other than just an add on rev limiter.

Crank and rods always worked fine for us! Of course it's a little more expensive!

ty guys as it turns out the module i have is not a cd module even though that's how it was advertised when i bought it. so the msd soft touch for non cd ignitions will work just fine.
