with both LR and RR springs on top of rearend, where is best location for shocks, behind or infront or staggered?

totally depends on what type of rear suspension you have, but you should get those springs of the top of the rear end. the bottom of your spring and shock mount should be about 6 to 7 inches below center of axle tube. if they are too high the force is more sideways than downward on them as the cars rolls over, you want to plant that tire not push it sideways. do not tip your shocks in as this will make them react in a non-linear ratio with chassis movement and your shock will seem softer the more the car rolls. as for front to back this depends on chassis type (suspension) and what you want the car to do... get tighter or looser. hope this helps, john
