the stub on my mod is 68-72 chevelle. The car when I purchaced it had inner tierods that dropped from the center link at an angle about 3", then whent straight out. What are these rod from? when I try to get 68-72 chevelle rods from parts store they give me ones that come straight out from the center link. need the ones that drop to correct a bumpsteer problem. thanks in advance

Are the angled one just heated and bent? I've never seen anything like what you are describing.

no they look totally stock. they have the #4075 stamped in the back of them in the tin part next to the grease fitting, and they have 5/8" size threads

the tie rods are for a camaro, not for sure if they are for a metric car or chevelle. Ive got one here its part # 4076 for inner right so i would assume the 4075 is for inner left. i bought it by mistake and just havent gotten around to takin it back yet. try calling your chassis manufacturer and see what they say. I personally run moog # ES 403 L inner and use the swedge tube/heim end outter to set bump steer, little easier to do it that way than tweakin a stock type tie rod. BTW i have dw7 chevelle car.

called chassis builder today and found out what they are. thier inner tie rods from a '74 camaro. Have to have these if you have 68-72 chevelle stub and lowers and pinto spindles, makes it so much easier to get rid of bumpsteer and get frame clearence. thanks to all that responded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Besides our Dart Mod (dirt) We have an Ellis asphualt mod, chevelle clip, pinto spindles, the bent inner tie rods are stock pieces that are notheated and bent. I believe they are mid 70's Camaro inner tie rods.
