What are some things that you guys running these heads have done to really make them run? No porting or polishing allowed for me. Basically, what I am looking for is different valves, angle-milling, and headers(longer, shorter). My deal is a 9:1 compression, stock intake, two barrel dirt modified class. Thanks for your input!

How does the cylinder head rule read, for you class of Mod?

The (almost) complete engine rules are as follows:
1. All engines must be 9.0 to 1 compression and be able to be used in conventional passenger cars.
Only stock unaltered cast iron 2 barrel or 4-barrel intake manifolds are permitted.
Porting, polishing or port machining are not permitted. No Bowtie, VORTEC, SVO or W2, marine or other special production intake manifolds or cylinder heads
8. Flattop or dished pistons only. No domed pistons.
13. $100.00 FINE IF CAUGHT WITH PORTED HEADS OR INTAKE.

Just thought I'd throw in that other info for you (especially the last part). Maybe some of you guys can read between the lines better than me. This is the only excerpt that pertains to the heads.

Since your rules are specifying no SVO heads, I'd have chosen the N351 head over the GT40P's. They're good right out of the box for your application.

Just a thought,

The N351 "sportsman" have SVO on them, right?

OOPS. My bad. Sorry about that, I forgot. You are correct.
