I just got a used flexi flyer and the pull bar is at an angle and i dont mean up and down but left to right.The front mount is angled towards the left rear. Why would you do this and should I try it or cut it off and mount it straight? Thanks for your Help

to the left it will favor the left rear tire more than the right which may or may not give the car the feeling of being tighter coming off the corner. i make my mounts on the rearend and the frame so i can move the pulbar left to right as a tuning tool. most of the time i end up running it centered to 1 -1.5 inches to the left from center.

Before I went cutting on the car I would call Flexi and ask them some questions. This angle could be from many different factors. It could be the person before you is running a longer wheel base or different links or transmision and drive shaft combo's. Just some things to think about before you get the torch out. Ltr spde

Idealy you want the pull bar to be parallel to the centerline of the car. Having the bar angled creates a lateral force vector, but it is very minimal.
If its easily corrected i would change the mounts to straighten the bar out, if not its not a big disadvantage to leave it as is.
