Fellow mod drivers I purchased a 2000
harris dirt chassis & I need a little
help.I dont know which pitman arm and
Idler to use.I dont want to buy all
new from harris,Ive got a few different
sizes all ready.Im currently running a
3 bolt steering gear with small input shaft

From about 98 up they use a stock chevelle idler arm and pitman arm now. 97 and older used the extended ones when the steering wasdmoved forward 2 inches and they were bent flat.

If it is a 2000 and has a bolt on top cover it will use the stock chevelle pitman arm68-72.If it is the 605 box with the round snap ring cover it will be from the sme years chevell with manual stearing.These are getting hard to find.

they moved it forward for better geometry. imca didn't like the fact they altered a stock componet (pitman arm) and made them stop.
