Anyone notice the new wording in in UMPs' rule 15? " Frames can not be cut ahead of firewall for any reason". That, as I read it includes the frame horns where the front bumper mounts. Dose that mean we are going to weld some horns back on or what? I hope this isnt due to the Earnheardt deal with crush zones ect ect.

The copy of the 2002 rules that i have #15 worded the same as previous years stating: "Frames may be cut in rear only at point not farther than 36" from center of rear end housing. "

The 2002 UMP rules I received from Bloomington Speedway agrees with Gene. I read it, but I can't believe that is their real intent. STLRACING.com shows the original wording, or did they find a mistake and change it back???
