A new game is in town, or coming to yours soon. It is called the World Dirt Racing League, and is to be a traveling type series similar to USMTS.

The tentative pay sheet I saw paid $1200 to win the mod class and $5000 to win late model.

Mod engine restrictions are an OEM block, with no claim, and add 40 pounds for aluminum heads.

They have a website, that is not quite done but the URL is www.worldraceleague.com

I will try to get Jammin in touch with the promoter and see if he can post more information for you guys, and I am mailing a rule book to Jammin today so he has it for reference.

The man organizing the series is James Wilson from the Kansas City area. I have heard rumors on several tracks he has shows set for in the central states area.

Can't speak for him but figured I would give you all the heads up.

This is pretty open as for rules, but has a few simple twists. OEM blocks, intakes have to have a flat plenum (I read that as dual plane), heads with stock size valves +.100 max, alum heads add 40 pounds to front of car, no motor claim.

Rear spoilers allowed. At least the payis realistic at $1200 to win the event, better then the $300-500 most places running against the same equipment.

I will try to post more but I am leaving wednesday morning and be gone through sunday so if I don't I will when I get back.
