where is a good place to start on spring rates? On a metric car it is a three link springs on top of the rear end.

650 LF, 750 RF, 200 LR, 175 RR

I agree with the above especially if you have the metric lower a-frames. If you have the nova or camaro lower a-frames you may need to increase 100 pounds because the leverage is less as the springs are farther inboard on the a-frame. Start with the 650 and 750 and if is too soft you only have to buy one spring, an 850.

Thanks guys, i was off a little on the front. 900& 800 on the front.

Wouldn't it also depend on the banking of the track. Doesn't high bank take more front spring?

I agrre on the 900 and 800 also the 200 left rear and 175 right rear are good. Use the conversion in the toolbox if you are running swing arms. I generally never changed the right rear but I would some times go as hig as 250 on the left rear when it got slick. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't.

we ran last year at the beginning a 700/800 on left and right front, then went to 800/800, then 800/900, then 800/1000. And the last is where we left it. Car was rolling over on the front way to much, and had to stiffen. But, not ever setup is the same. PS: we also were running mono leaf springs on the rear.
