Where are the best places to reduce rotating weight and how?
And what about powerglides? What is the rotating weight in a PG and can it be cut down?

well i like the light weight bassest wheels, alum. spools, alum. driveshaft (if you can pull it off hehehe) drilled axels, and alum. lug nuts. if your looking to pull some weight out of the front wheels you can't drill the rotors on the contact area. however you can drill around the rotor, just don't take too much out. the caliper on the bottom side can be drilled as well about 1/2 the distance through. if a guy would just sit back and look at things alittle closer he'll find all kinds of ways to get around weight problems and give himself a small advantage.

Anything under 1 " has basically no rotating weight/mass. Fast Shafts sells a 1 inch driveshaft which is about 3-5 lbs lighter than a standard 2.5 inch shaft. A lightweight crank makes a huge difference. Titanium studs and nuts are worth about 2 lbs per wheel, and lots of drag racers are getting rid of them. Smaller is better with rotating weight.
