Allright all you builders and racers out there, lets hear the skinny on stubs. Recently I have heard great things about the newer Impala stubs and spindles.
Lets go over the various popular stubs and spindles and analyze their pro's and cons.
68-72Chevelle, Small Metric, Late Impala, Late Ford, early Ford.
How much does each actually weigh on average?
How hard is bump on each?
Which type of spindle preferred on each and why?

From some basic checking with a tape measure. I'm not a builder but here is what we found.(only on the chevy's)
The width from smallest, Metric, Chevelle, Impala.
The weight from lightest Chevelle, Metric, Impala.
Extra note for reasons to like a certain type: The Chevelle lower A arm point forward, this allows for the frame to be moved back to keep the wheelbase. (More rear %)
The Metric is light and parts are numerous.
The Impala parts are numerous and it's the widest. (check out the center link length)
