The Brinn is your best bet.I bought one of the first series Brinns in 1990. that trans has changed hands 5 times and to the best of my knowledge has only had new clutches 3 times.A friend of mine has it now in a UMP modified.They are a direct replacement for a 3 spd or glide ,same length and output spline. You will need the coupler that bolts to your flexplate, because the input shaft is 1.375 x 10 spline.

YOU CAN BUY A BERT NEW FOR 1150. OR LESS IF YOU SHOP AROUND IT SHOULD COME WITH A DRIVE FLANGE THAT YOU CAN USE WITH A STOCK FLEX PLATE IT WILL MOUNT TO A STOCK BELL AND YOU NEED A TWO LEVER TYPE SHIFTER AND MYBE A LONGER DRIVE SHAFT. WORKS GREAT AND IF YOU CHANGE FLUID REG WILL LAST A LONG TIME 4,5,6 SEASONS OR MORE USE TYPE F AUTO TRANS. BUT IF YOU CAN AFFORD THE BELL HOUSING AND REVERSE MOUNT STARTER.YOU CAN ALSO GET THIS WITH A BELT DRIVE AND RUN A COMBO FUEL/POWER STEERING PUMP GETS THE WEIGHT BACK AND HOLDS UP WELL. AND IF YOU BUY THE RIGHT STUFF YOU CAN PUT IT TOGETHER A LITTLE AT A TIME.
