I heard from someone that there were some successful drivers that were reworking their brake bias systems from the left to the right, instead from the front to the back. I thought about this, since you have a solid connection between the two rear tires, if you increased the bias from the right over to the left, it would actually create 3 wheel braking. If you go back to the right, your going back to 4 wheel.

Anyone tried this?

I.M.C.A rules say you can have one proportioning device front to rear only.

Yes I have done this. It was most effective with a non coupled rear end(locker). You can still do this and "tune" it without any proportioning valve by altering the size of the m/c's, the size of the calipers(left to right) and the agression of the pad compounds(left to right). I started thinking about this by watching a bulldozer work in a field. It "turns" by braking one tread more than the other...hmmmmm
There are more options, if you are interested pm me.
Hope this helps you.

I had assumed left to right brake bias would be extremely beneficial for Brake floaters, especially if you only run one on the RR.

If you ran the brake adjuster left to right bias with a spool wouldn’t that be the same as three wheel brakes?

Yes, but it would allow you to adjust from 4 wheel to 3 wheel that way.

three wheel brakes are a crutch for an ill handling car or an inexperienced driver.
