I run mono-leaf coil rear on a 98' dirt works, car works great and is very consistent. There is a couple of cars around this area that run this as well and all seem to be the same way.

No I do not run brake floaters but since I do not run them I change my springs every 5 races faithfully because before I was having problems with them braking.

Out numbered? Yup. Underrated? Yup. Real, real fast on slick or rough tracks. You better beleive it. I have a 99 Ellis that has been bumped and banged and front end clipped late last year. It's like a timex, just keeps on ticking. Can a 4 link be faster than a mono car. YES, IF the people jacking on the bars know what they are doing. Can a really fast 4 bar get dialed out of the game in the blink of an eye? Most definetly. I see it all the time. We won 7 races and a UMP state Championship last year with a mono car against a field of 4 bars. People make fun of my stone age ride but I laugh all the way to the bank.
