Is it possible that the last starter I purchased ($120) could of had a defective mounting block, dimension wise? The drive gear would not mesh properly with my 153 tooth ring gear on my 406 motor. I appeared as if it needed to be closer. In less than 12 motor starts the gear is worn out. Also, is this an easily replaced part? Is there something better out there?
