good luck on finding one i have 3 of them but not for sale. the only problem with them is you need to run a rear mount. if you donnt the case will brake at the 4 bolts to the bell.

not sure about the year, but the weight is some where around 22 lbs. lighter for the 4-speed. of course that is with 1st. and 2nd. gear removed from the main shaft. the only problem i have had with the 4-speed is mine likes to eat syncronizing rings between 3rd. and 4th.

I once owned a old Buick Skyhawk like a chevy monza, it had a 231 V6 1979 model, aluminum four speed, bellhousing had two patterns, I dogged the #$%# out of that car an never once had a problem with the tranny.

77-81 trans-am and camaros had the aluminum t-10.
