I built a copy of flexiflier with afco type 4 link. I use a spring pull bar. the bird cages are floated. Springs are mounted to rear and shocks on front of bird cages. The rear goes up to end of travel and bounces down the track.
Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

DECREASE YOUR ANGLE OF YOUR TORQUE LINK AND CHECK TO MAKE SURE NOTHING IS BINDING.

I agree with the above post, but I'd also think about dereasing the effective angle of your bars. The effective angle will be a line drawn halfway between the two angles of the bars, dissecting the angle. If this is too steep, the car will lift to fully extend the shocks which is what it sounds like you've got. By dropping this angle, it will require more thrust to drive the rear end under the car, which will allow it to ride more on the springs.
By dropping the upper angle, you'll decrease the effective angle without affecting roll steer as much as you would by dropping the lower bar, assuming that the upper is about 2" longer than the lower, as per the afco design.
Also, if the conversion isn't too tough, you may want to switch over to a torque arm. The torque arm lifts the car as opposed to the torque link which will try to pull the car back over the rear end, which is what's happening now. I've run both, and for the 4 bar the torque arm seemed to work best for just that reason. The Z-link likes a torque link better as the force isn't transferred the same way through the z-links as it is through the 4 bar.

Thanks for the suggestions. I may try switching the right side to a Z link. I was thinking about locking the floater on the left side to harness mor of the axel rotation. What is your opinion?

try moving both springs to the front of the rearend and lower the angles on the upper bars. we run 11 inch lowers and 15 inch uppers at 12deg both sides as a base(with a torque arm) on a long 1/4 mile fair surface and the chassis is still lifting at the end of the strait
