was just wondering what everybody is paying for alcohol this year. have been checking around here(central minnesota) and the price has more than doubled since last fall. going for over $3 per gallon now!!! cheapest we found so far was pam oil in sioux falls s.d., if you bought quantities it was $151 per barrel!!! another place was over 3.25 per gallon. are we getting hosed or has the market gone up all over??? sure glad i didn't sell my gas carb at the swap meet!!! maybe some are wishing they would have bought it! let me know what you're paying.

thanks, john

Yes it has gone up atleast here in Texas. I paid $130 for a barrel of VP Methanol. I found another place that has it for $100 dollars a barrel but have heard from some racers that the were not happy with the product though. If you have any freinds that own or operate any gas wells see what they can get it for. One of my freinds said he can get it all I want for $81 a barrel so I guess I might start selling some at the track.
