My car has a multileaf rear. and i couldn't get the car to handle.so i've been reading everything i can find on leaf spring set-ups.I've found out that the rear eye was way to high. What i need to know is how far do i toe the front eyes in 1.5" and do i toe the leaf in more than the right?

Go to www.rpmnet.com there used to be a good article on leaf springs there. I think it was under tech articles. I wish I would have read it when I ran leafs.

I also run multileafs, first night out all we could do was spin, really thought about it and went and seen a old frend he came to my shop and what we foound was the way toe frontend was setup, he made changes, swore me to not tell, he is a racer 55 yrs. old with muti track champs over the years, 11 main event wins and local big race winner this past year, after we made setup changes went on to finish every main in my car in money with several top five finishes, we had no more problems except engine, this was with used car and who knows when the springs were changed last run all year with same springs, car very fast down straights, a little lose oout of corners but thats my problem with the gas and my foot. I really like the multileafs, going to run them this year again only installing new springs front povits and sliders. This was a very good year for me, have been out of racing for 20 years and previous experience was only with sprints, looking foward to this year, what or how is your frontend set up, let me know and I'll share the basic settings with you. The article on leafs at rpm.net is very good also.

I would like to take you for all the info.and i have read the rpm tech, and landrum tech, they just say toe in front eyes 3" but someone here wrote they tried 3" but the springs would bind and said try 1.5"...the rpm tech also said toe the right eye in more but didn't say how much...the chassie i got is a 79 t-berg front clip..

We run a mono leaf car with the front toed in 5 1/2 in over all. My car hooks really will with great side bite! only problem had was bending the monos and having to replace them every 4 nights. we installed a 90/10 shock on the top of the rear end &changed to AFCO monos. we run in the top 3 most nigths.
I take this setup over multi,3 or 4 links any nigth.
