Author Topic:   Power Steering set up?

I've heard that the power steering pump from a stock Citation was very similar to the aftermarket ones I always see in the magazines. Has anyone ever converted a "junkyard" pump? What has to be done to it to make it work properly? I'm one of those guys who believe that GM stuff is generally better than aftermarket stuff, and ALWAYS try to save a buck or two. Any help here would be greatlt appreciated!

Cavalier! OK! Will I need to thread some fittings into the pump? Does it work (in stock configuration) with a remote reservior?Would I want to replace the stock reservoir with a different tank? I'll be checking the local junkyard if it EVER stops raining!LOL
