Hey guys...I have a 79 monte Hobby stock, gonna race on a 3/8 fast track...getting ready to buy the wheels...one stupid question though. What off-sets should i get, and for which corner? I know 2" on the left rear......So what does everybody use?

it all depends on your setup basicly what works for one guy doesn't work for the next myslef i would start with 2-3 in all around and tune from there

Well I run a 2" offset left rear and the rest of the way around the car is 3". But I also have 4" offset wheels if I need them but thats a rare but what I like and works for me dont mean you'll like it or work for you just remember that. I also Have the resources to buy 4 sets of new tires and wheels every yr so that helps. Oh yeah and I do not run any stagger...

Yeah, i mainly needed to know about the fronts. I have an idea about the backs.
It is a "non-IMCA" Hobby, 79 monte. It has:
springs: 1000lf 1200rf
250lr 200rr
shocks: afco(all around)

track: fast,dry-slick, 3/8

I plan on 2" offset lr, 3"(or 4") rr.

Was just wondering about where to start with new wheels for the front. You guessed it, i'm building for the first time....
