I just bought a '76 Cougar street stock. It had 2 races on it when the guys motor blew and he didn't want to continue this year. I bought it less motor and trans. I am getting a 351 Windsor for it in a couple of days though. Could you give me a sequence of steps to go through to A)check it over, and B)get it ready?

are you talking about going thru the motor or the car ?

Mainly the car. As far as order of process to get it race ready for you. As far as the motor goes, I think I'm ok on that. My crew chief is a brainiac on engines, so I think I'm good there. Thanx!
