Just curious but a couple of guys at our track have to rev their motors quite a bit before their trannies kick in and I know there isn't any thing wrong with them. The rules say stock automatic transmission but I think they are cheating

it could be a stall converter or they have a manual shift kit in it and take off in drive both will need to rev engine before they take off

One of the cars was in the top 5 year before last but it has a different driver now and the other was in the top 10. The way things are going so far this year 3rd would be great!

Do you have any low stall converters for TH-350's?

If they are running a higher RPM stall converter it may not be the best thing for dirt track. Higher reving stall converters are usually used in drag racing to allow the engine to rev higher before take-off. I'm not sure what the best stall would be for dirt track oval, but assume that it would depend on your final drive ratio, i.e., tranny, rear, tire hight.

At my track any of the above mentioned mods would be cheating, but there are probably far worse infractions going on that you can't detect. Good luck!

My low stall converters brake stall at the same rpm as stock converters so they will go through tech.
