Does anyone know specs on how to set up a camaro for a 3/8 mile dirt track with a slight bank in the curves...Such as springs to use on each side, tires, pressure, etc. Having a little trouble with handling.

You could get 10 different reply's and 10 different answers to this question. I have a 79' camaro and use a 1000lb rt. frt., a 700lb.ish (not exactly sure)lt. frt., a 250lb. lt. rear, a 200lb rt. rear......rt. frt. 20psi, lt. frt. 16psi, rt. rear 18psi, lt. rear 15 psi..... you may want a little less spring weight since I race 1/2 mile and need a little stiffer springs than you would on a 3/8...should be pretty close. good luck

NYHICK,

What do you do with weight (cross and front/rear), camber, toe, caster, stagger, etc?

Dixon, I honestly have no idea about the weight or percentages. I dont have scales and dont have access to any. I just followed the lead of other drivers I know and got close to what they used. As for the rest....
I use 3 degrees camber on each side (rt. neg. and lt. pos.), 3 degrees positive caster on the right and 2 degrees positive on the left. I use no toe but I have heard some use 1/8 inch. I run 1" of stagger, and no offset differences (3" on each wheel).

Thanks Hick, I really appreciate the info. You might want to try a little bit of toe, just my opinion.
