i personally don't use anything the way i see it thats just going to pack full of mud and hurt more than gain just make sure you have a good shroud behind and i use 3 layers of screen in front

I ran one last year and so did about 90% of everyone else did. I didn't have any problems with it filling up with mud but I didn't like the way mine was made last year. Also the way I see it the smaller the opening in front the less mud I have stuck in my radiator

are you running a stock suport or did you make your own?

The bottom of the support is stock the top is homemade.

are you required to run a stock one we run homemade ones and drop it down a little more than stock and tilt the top back just a bit you might want to try it it will take a lot of weight off the front end also

We use the bottom half of the stock support to sit the radiator on. It doesn't go all the way across the front. Its only about a foot wider than the radiator and it doesn't weigh much. Weight isn't as much of a factor for us compared to some of you our minimum is 3500lbs I am beginning to wonder if we are the only two here.
