I've heard nothing but bad things about the snap ring that controls the movement of a coupler for a Powerglide. I think I'm going to put a spacer in between the crank and front of the shaft instead. I have a 400 with a 350 flywheel and spacer with a powerglide. I realize its gonna take some tinkering, but what length should the spacer be? Also, how much play should there be?

Well I bought the used coupler and it had no snap ring on it and I can't seem to find one for it. I readily admit that I haven't gone to the hardware store or Autozone to see if I can find something that would work.
Anbody know where I can get the snap ring?
