well im 16 and just starting to race and well i gotta ? what should i run spider gears or a spool in the rear end housing? any sugestions

some tracks you must run an open rear end other say they must be locked. we run mini spools in our cars

Your best bet is to ask some of the senior guys that run at your track. Most guys are willing to help and if you run into one that won't it just means they cannot win a championship without hidding everything they have learned from the same guys you are going to go to for advise so don't get upset if you run into one or two guys that just won't help because for the most part 99% of all racers are out to help one another and have a good time.
Hope you have a good time and win a couple races over the 2002 season.

find out if you can run a locked rear end like they all say if you can save yourself some money and weld your spiders together the rear end in my car had been ran for going on 10 years now with this set up never had a lick of trouble

I agree with every one on asking... I run welded spiders gears like racer for about 12 years and had no trouble
