I have a metric (Gran Prix) car. My Question/ concern is that if I put both of them (battery/ fuel cell) in the truck and get a spark---- BOO-YAALL. Or I can put it behind the drivers seat and if I roll the car, I could take a bath in battery acid. Any suggestions for placement of the battery and either someway to prevent/ isolate sparks or bathing in acid.

put it in the trunk and put it in a plastic boat box as for the sparking here is how i mount mine i have seen alot of the battery boxes you can buy that puts a peice of angle iron along one side to hold it down not to safe in my opinion here is waht i do i took two 1/2 in threaded rods and ran then down to the trunk floor or bars if you can run them i can't so i use the floor then i put a peice of flat steel across the top with 2- 3 inch long pieces of anlge on each side to hold the batery in place i also put an old tube on it to keep it from wearing threw and also if in a worse case deal it slides then the terminals will not touch it then just tighten it down and put the top on the box you will need to cut a little bit off the lid to fit tight over the flat steel but it works like a charm we have rolled cars hit concrete walls head on and the batery has never moved and inch
