Can someone tell me what caster and camber is? And what I should have for a 3/8 mile high banked dirt track. I'm trying to learn as much as I can, but I'm really not sure about these two topics.

Caster is the position of the upper ball joint in relation to the lower. For example if the upper ball joint was toward the rear of the car it would be positive caster. As for camber it is the position of the top of the wheel in relation to the bottom. I the top of the wheel leaned in towards the motor it would be negative camber and if it was leaned out it would be positive. The is way more to front end alignments than you can imagine. You should really buy a chassis book and study it.

Thanks bbracer, but what would you gain by changing caster? I understand the camber part. I'll try and get a book on chassis set up.
