We have a 350 Chevy Factory Stock approximately 550 horsepower and a 6.89 final drive ratio running on a 3/10 mile clay track.(With power steering)
It has recently developed a problem throwing belts at full throttle. We have changed pulleys and aligned them.
Any suggestions on the best pulleys and belts to run ? It has stock factory pulleys.
THANKS

Besides the alignment which is the first and obvious one, I also went down a size on the belt width which lets the belt sit deeper in the pulley, and I also use a stock pulley from an older Cadilac which was a little bit bigger on the diameter and had a wider groove and fit right on my stock camaro power steering pump. I also run the 25% reduction crank pulley.
