Are the lines on the input shaft in plain view. I don't see anything on the input shaft. I tried counting the number of turns of the input shaft compared to the number of turns on the output. I got 1st and reverse 3:1, 2nd 1.75:1 and 3rd 1:1 Just trying to figure out what I got.
Thanks
Al

Yes, the lines are in plain view. The lines are formed by little notches in each gear on the input shaft. It sounds like you may have a 0 line saginaw which should be a 2.85 1st and a 1.68 2nd. A 1 line would have a 2.54 / 1.50, a 2 line 3.11 / 1.84 and a 3 line 3.5 / 1.89.
