Who uses cage kits, and which brand seems to be the best? I bought a speedway kit once. The finished product was very nice, however I wasn't impressed with the way it went together. Was concidering buying another. Just thought I would ask.

I used Speedway's kit for my camaro, like you it turned out nice. After looking at other cars, I seen some improvements and better ways to tie to the sub-frames than they used. Would have one done from scratch next time.

before you buy a cage from one of those fits everything companies check with your local builders about putting a cage in. i have found that those kits fit like s@#$ and they cost about $300 and will take you a lot of time to install. most shops will bend you up a cage and install for 450- 600 dollars and do it in aday or two and save you alot of heart break iknow ive done it both ways and the shops are the best way!!!

I definetly agree with Speedster, if you can have a reputable fabricator in your area install a cage for your car around 500 bucks that is definetly the way to go. The Howe cage is DOM, and you can't compare apples with oranges, if you want DOM it costs more.
