Can anyone tell me how to find ratios in a automatic trans?

Mainly a powerglide.

Stock is 1.76 or 1.82. The 1.76 is a heavy cast type planetary and the 1.82 has a stamped steel carrier. You can also measure the input shaft to tell. The 1.76 has a 12 7/8" length shaft and the 1.82 is 12 5/8".

racers guide .com has all those trans numbers and there are only two for the glide 1.76 &1.82 like fanodirt said.

A Powerglide you can pull the input shaft out and measure it stand it on the tailshaft pull it out dont turn anything and you can work it rightback in
