what would us camaro racers have to do different to the rear of a camaro to run mono leaf springs. Rules won't let us run a panard bar if not factory.

In order to run mono leaf on a camaro, you would have to mount a coil spring either on top of the housing or on a coil spring eliminator, mounted either in front of or behind the housing. Then mount your shock on the opposite side from the spring. Kinda alot like a coil mono on a mod. Im not sure if your class would allow this kind of setup or not........I just run Landrum stacked leafs on my camaro stock car, and love em. They hook up on any kind of track condition with little or no adjustments......However there are some coil spring metric framed cars running stock lower links, with only one top link connected, and a panhard bar. They run good also, but have to be more precise in their setup. Hope this helps.....Long live the camaro stock car's........LOL.
