we have 9" with a 41/2 bolt pattern. how do you drill to get 43/4 chevy?are all holes filled and then redrilled? or drill ford holes larger? thanks.

the SAFEST WAY is to weld up the 4 1/2 pattern and grind smooth then redrill to 4 3/4 you can buy templates with the different bolt patterns to properly locate the bolt pattern

Just another thought, I know a guy that bought a wheel that had both bolt patterns..
He bolted the wheel on the axle then drilled the other bolt pattern, this will make the flange thin between the stud holes, when he was done installing the new studs he took the old ones out and welded the old holes shut to add the strength back into the flange................Jeff

PS. this keeps the wheel centered on the axle to keep run out to nothing
