OK I WENT AND BOUGHT A NICE CIRCLE TRACK OIL PAN PUT IT ON THE ENGINE AND WAS ALL PUMPED TO PUT IT ON LAST NIGHT. LOWERED IT INTO MY CAR (1978 FIREBIRD) AND THE FRONT 1.5" HIT THE CROSS MEMBER. SO IS THIS A PROBLEM WITH ALL CIRCLE TRACK PANS OR IS THIS JUST WITH THE ONE I BOUGHT. DOES ANYONE KNOW ONE THAT WOULD FIT. MY BLOOD PRESSURE CAN'T TAKE IT AGIAN.

Kevco pans are the best and the have a ton of different ones. The one you might need is the Kevco 1087 that is built on a stock core, so it has a shorter front than the "claimer" pans. Jr Motorsports has them for 69.95 1-888-771 -5574. or most of Midwest suppliers carry Kevco pans or calll Kevco direct with your questions, I can't find there phone number but they are in Fairmont MN. sixwillwin
