I KNOW I HAVE SEEN THIS TOPIC HEAR BEFORE BUT CAN'T FIND IT NOW. ON AS SAGINAW 3SPD HOW MANY RING ARE THERE FOR EACH GEAR COMBINATION AND ALSO FOR SAGINAW 4SPD.

I hope this helps, But the only true way is to open the side cover and do the math. Ive seen variations in the 3-speeds, like different ratios in the 5 bolt flange HD truck type trannys.
I have an excel sheet I can post for you if you need more info
