why when i push down on the inside belt on my power steering.the out side belt become's looser.the inside belt is a little tighter then the out side one. every thing is in line. i check it lot's of time's.i do belive i have fix them from jumping off. at least the last time i raced.they stayed on .they were jumping off all the time. but that lose belt just has me a bit worryed.thank you for any help given.

Most belt manfactures will say that you don't need a matched set. Believe me that if you go to a real parts store (not the zone)that sells good belts (Goodyear,Dayco,or Gates)and ask the man for a matched set or 2 belts that are tied together in a bundle, you will have a better pair that are closer to the same length.

NOT ALL BELTS ARE CREATED EQUAL.

thank you peddler. i will try that. but i did check my belt's. and they are matching nummber's. thank's again.

Just because the numbers are the same dosen't mean they are the exact same size. Just close enough.
