If you are OK on entry, do not change the cross, sounds like you are pretty close, what kind of air pressures are you running?
Any Stagger?

Is this a street stock car(stock trailing arms and location?)

posted June 08, 2000 12:21 AM
its a hot stock with stock trailing arms
stock location on frame
3200 lbs hoosier rc compound 3 no stagger
runing in to corner about 90 mph
7000 rpm 6.50 final 86 inch cir.
i watched my tape it look like right front is dipping and left rear coming up too much
mid turn to exit .this track is like a pringle potato chip, high banked corners
very litte on straits . it unloads in that transion coming off
i was running little higher air but tires seem to go away about 8 laps in .lf10 rf14
lr 10 rr12.i would lead first 8 laps then it would go away i guess to pressure build up

In the central texas area we run high bank tracks. The spring rate that we use on the front in a car that heavy is LF 1000 to 1200, RF 1400 to 1600 lbs. you may say thats too heavy but it works and it takes out the front dip. There is also the problem of gas pedal control. If you are blowing the tires off the car on exit mabye you need to slow down the pedal response. Not bashing the driver just a thought.
