i am looking at buying a set of the wiseco pro tru pistons for a 6" rod 383. they are flat top and they have a compression height of 1.125. this is a little different than the compression height of other pistons (around 1.500 or so) what is compression height and will the lower compression height be somehing i need to worry about? i'd like to use these pistons with the pro 50cc heads for about a 12.1 compression ratio. thanks

Compression height is the measurment from the flat top part of the piston to the center of the piston pin.

The piston you are inquiring about will work with 3.750" stroke and 6.000" rod.

With the 1.500" C.H. you would have to use a 5.700" rod with the 3.750" stroke crank.
