less resistance is better. If you have a mixed set, Ohm every wire, and get the least amount of resistance you can for each cylinder.

The trade off is noise suppression. Passenger car wires are high resistance to iliminate noise in your radio (and "noise" picked up on low current sensor wires).

Good racing wires are normally low resistance (1k ohm per foot or so) so they can deliver more energy to the plug.

Most racing wire manufacturers will provide the (resistance) specs on thier products.
