I run mostly 347 ford strokers. I was looking through a speedway mag and noticed a 3.47 stroke crank. The 347 has 3.4 with 5.4 rods. Will a 3.47 crank run in a 302 block with these rods and what would the c.i. be?

Next..... I bought a 312 Ford Only thing I know about this engine is it is a 302 block. Whats inside to make 312 ci?

i think a 3.47 stroke 302 is a 354 and a 312 has an offset ground crank to fit chevy journal sized rods. check the rods that are in it.

What engines can you find stock 3.4 stroke Ford cranks in?
Would a 3.47 crank have to much side load on the cylinder walls with 5.4 rods? Just havent heard alot of people running this setup!!!

you won't find a 3.40 stroke in any SBF. it's an all aftermarket deal. the 3.40 cranks are $129 + shipping on ebay, search engine parts using rp$ as your search word. you're correct on the "side loading"/rod angle, that's why it's not as popular of a combo as the 3.40 stroke 347.
